Christmas is almost here!!
Between the last-minute shopping and the wrapping paper, it’s easy to lose sight of what we are really waiting for: the coming of Christ. So as you shop for the coffee lover in your life, I hope this list makes it a little easier, and leaves you more time for what matters most.
This is my own Christmas wish list: mostly things I do not have yet, what I would ask for, and why.
My Coffee Lover’s Wish List
Saturnbird No.1-6 Instant Coffee (24 Count)
Specialty coffee, but freeze dried, so it is as easy as instant. It comes in the cutest little capsules, and the 24 count is a mix of light, medium, and dark roasts, so I could try a little bit of everything. It also seems to have good reviews, which is why it made my list.

Nuts.com Dark Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans (2 Pound Bag)
A nice little treat that would be perfect in a coffee lover’s stocking. Chocolate covered espresso beans are just so tasty, and a 2 pound bag means there is plenty to share (or not 😉 ).

VEVOR Nitro Cold Brew Coffee Maker (68 oz)
This is one of those things I would never buy for myself, which makes it the perfect gift. It is just a fun, interesting way to make coffee. It would be great for the nerdy coffee lover who loves experimenting with different brewing methods, and since it uses nitrogen, it is a fun pick for someone who loves both coffee and beer.

Meraki Dual Boiler Espresso Machine with Grinder and Dual Built-In Scales
This would be a big upgrade from my current espresso machine. A friend of mine who is a true coffee expert uses this machine every day at home and loves it. The quality and craft of this machine is top-tier, and it makes a great gift for anyone who is due for an espresso machine upgrade.
If I were giving this one, here is how I would do it: while they are sleeping, swap out their old machine, set up the Meraki in its place, and wrap it right there on the counter. When they wake up and go to make their morning espresso, surprise. A brand-new machine, all set up and ready to brew 🙂

MHW-3BOMBER Mini Coffee Scale with Timer
MHW-3BOMBER is a well-known brand in the coffee world, and a good precision scale makes a great gift for someone who does not have one yet, or for someone who is due for an upgrade. That would be me. Right now I am using a regular old kitchen scale I picked up cheap at the grocery store.

Bialetti Mini Express Moka Set (2-Cup, with 2 Shot Glasses)
This is exactly what I would call a coffee lover’s Christmas gift. It is such a fun, cute, quirky little stovetop Bialetti that brews about two shots of “espresso.” (It is not officially espresso, but it is pretty close.) Besides the original red, it comes in other styles too, including Kandinsky, Bridgerton, Magritte, and Pop Art themes. If you know someone who loves coffee and has a super fun, creative personality, this would be the perfect Christmas gift.

Citaly GO-1 Portable Espresso Machine (Self-Heating)
This is the only thing on my list I actually own, and I love it so much I had to include it. It makes really good espresso, and it is made specifically for making espresso on the go. If you know someone who is always camping or traveling, this is a gift they would really appreciate.

Support Local
Okay, now for my favorite part: gifts that skip the cart, the tracking numbers, and the shipping labels. Here are four ways to support local while you shop!
1. A gift card to a local coffee shop. Get one for their favorite spot, or for a new one they would have fun trying.
2. Beans from a local roaster. If you do not know what kind of beans to pick, just ask. Roasters would love to help you find the perfect match, trust me 😉
3. Custom mugs from a local potter. Find a potter or ceramic artist near you and have them make custom mugs for your coffee lover.
4. A coffee experience. Look for a coffee class within driving distance. Some coffee shops hold workshops on brewing techniques or latte art. Or book a tour of a local roastery. I have done this a few times, and it is so fascinating and definitely worth it.
Hope this helped!
At the end of the day, the best part of any coffee gift is who you get to share it with. So this Advent, make a little extra time for the people you love, whether that is over a fresh cup, a local coffee shop date, or a slow Christmas morning. And hey, save this list for later, or send it to the person who always asks what you want for Christmas 😉
Merry Christmas, friends!
